DV Cleared Integration Engineer

Location: Gloucester
Clearance: Active DV Clearance Required
Type: Contract

We are seeking an experienced Integration Engineer to join a high-performing team delivering cutting-edge technology solutions within the UK Defence and National Security sector. Based in Gloucester, this role offers the opportunity to work on mission-critical programmes, supporting the integration, deployment and maintenance of secure systems within highly classified environments.

As an Integration Engineer, you will play a key role in bringing together infrastructure, platforms and applications to ensure the successful delivery of complex technical solutions. Working closely with software engineers, platform teams and end users, you will support the full integration lifecycle, from build and deployment through to testing, troubleshooting and operational support.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, working with modern technologies and contributing to projects that have a direct impact on national security.

Key Responsibilities

• Integrate and deploy software applications across secure environments.
• Configure, administer and troubleshoot Linux-based systems.
• Build, maintain and support containerised solutions using Docker.

• Investigate and resolve integration, deployment and performance issues.
• Work closely with development, infrastructure and DevOps teams to ensure seamless system delivery.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation, installation guides and support procedures.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with Linux administration and support.
• Proven experience working with Docker and containerised environments.
• Previous experience in systems integration, deployment or platform engineering roles.
• Knowledge of networking concepts and troubleshooting methodologies.
• Experience with scripting or automation tools such as Bash, Python or similar.
• Ability to work effectively within highly secure and regulated environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Desirable Experience

• Exposure to Kubernetes or container orchestration technologies.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies and infrastructure platforms.
• Previous experience working within Defence, Government or National Security programmes.
