Job summary

Sanderson Recruitment is seeking an experienced Integration Architect to lead the design and delivery of large-scale integration solutions in a major transformation programme. The role combines hands-on technical work with architectural leadership, focusing on Kafka platforms, event-driven patterns, and real-time processing.

The successful candidate will translate business needs into scalable technical solutions, engage senior stakeholders, and drive governance and standards across programmes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Integration Architect in complex enterprise environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with Apache Kafka.
• Deep understanding of event-driven and message-based architectures.
• Experience designing high-volume, real-time integration solutions.
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems, APIs, and microservices architectures.
• Experience working in cloud environments, particularly AWS.
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Salary: £132,000 - 144,000 per year

Were supporting a major transformation programme and are seeking an experienced Integration Architect to lead the design and delivery of large-scale integration solutions. This is a hands‑on role combining architectural capability with detailed technical involvement, rather than focusing solely on governance. The initial contract is six months, with a rate of £550–£600 inside IR35, payable to an umbrella company. The role is based in Central London, with on‑site attendance four days a week.
