Job summary

Sompo International is hiring an Insurance Technical Analyst in our London office on a fixed-term basis until 30 June 2027. The role focuses on controlling risk information, premium accounting and underwriting records, while delivering essential reports and maintaining regulatory compliance.

You will collaborate with Insurance Operations teams, support offshore colleagues, and build strong stakeholder relationships in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of (re)insurance concepts and practices.
• Proficiency with MS Excel and standard MS Office tools.
• Excellent communication, organization and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
• Exposure to Lloyd's market is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to operational team plans and set work priorities.
• Support procedures and controls for managing contractual risk information, premium accounting, and underwriting records.
• Deliver reports including exception reports and regulatory documentation.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Support and guide offshore teams and align with underwriter expectations.
