Job summary

Altrapoint in London is seeking a Business Analyst (Functional) for a fast-growing insurance technology platform. The role is hybrid with UK remote options and requires 1–2 days per month in the London office; salary ranges from £70,000 to £85,000 plus comprehensive benefits.

You will lead requirement discovery for policy administration systems, translate needs into user stories, and work with engineering, testing and product teams across the delivery lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Proven commercial insurance background with quote-and-bind workflows, underwriting and policy admin tools (required).
• Experience capturing requirements and building detailed functional documentation in agile frameworks (required).
• Mid to Senior level analyst, comfortable in fast-paced environments (required).
• Experience engaging with third-party software vendors or internal teams (required).
• Willingness to travel to London office ~15% of the time with expenses covered (required).

Responsibilities

• Lead requirement discovery, running workshops with operational leads to translate insurance needs into actionable user stories.
• Partner with engineering, testing and product teams across scoping to deployment.
• Evaluate change requests and run impact assessments to deliver long-term operational value.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders and platform vendors as a trusted delivery liaison.
