Job summary

Everywhen, part of the Ardonagh Group, is seeking an experienced Team Leader for our Heritage Team in Southampton. You will lead a small insurance team, provide day-to-day coaching, manage performance, and maintain first-class client service while working with the Team Director on client management and retention.

You’ll develop people, respond to insurer and client queries, drive cross-selling and portfolio oversight, and ensure records comply with procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in the insurance industry (broker or insurer).
• Experience leading, mentoring, or managing a team.
• Insurance account handling experience.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• A proactive and self-motivated approach.
• Strong influencing, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a small team through regular one-to-one meetings and coaching.
• Manage day-to-day performance and development of the team.
• Support the Team Director with operational and client management responsibilities.
• Act as the first point of contact for client, insurer, and provider queries.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and insurers.
• Oversee a portfolio of business and drive retention and referrals.
• Resolve policy and documentation queries efficiently and accurately.
• Ensure client records and data are maintained per procedures.
