Job summary

Laz Partners Limited partners with a leading global asset manager to hire an Insurance Strategy & Business Management expert. The role focuses on strategic priorities, operational oversight and development of insurance investments, alongside M&A and corporate strategy.

Working with senior leadership, you will translate priorities into actionable plans, lead cross-functional initiatives and help drive growth across insurance-related businesses and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in insurance, asset management, or corporate development.
• Strong analytical and commercial skills for evaluating complex issues.
• Experience supporting or executing strategic initiatives and M&A.
• Ability to coordinate across functions and influence outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Support senior leadership in oversight and development of insurance investment activities.
• Contribute to corporate strategy, business planning and priority translation into plans.
• Assist with insurance-related M&A and post-acquisition integration.
• Oversee insurance businesses and strategic investments, monitor performance and improvements.
• Coordinate cross-functional projects across investment, finance and operations.
• Evaluate processes and operating models to improve efficiency and execution.
• Prepare analyses and management materials for senior decision-makers.
• Own ad hoc strategic and operational projects from assessment to execution.
