Qualifikationen

• UK law degree and solicitor qualification required.
• Post-qualification legal work experience in insurance is preferred.
• Excellent written and collaborative communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Able to work independently while being part of a wider international team.

Aufgaben

• Partner with underwriters and teams to deliver clear, practical legal advice.
• Advise on delegated underwriting and regulatory requirements across markets.
• Draft, review and negotiate commercial and insurance agreements (binders, NDAs, endorsements).
• Develop specialist expertise in facilities and innovative distribution models for UK business.
• Support product governance and conduct matters, including Consumer Duty and fair value.
• Lead cross-functional projects, templates, training and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Use AI and legal tech to improve efficiency and service delivery.
• Represent Legal on internal committees and collaborate with UK & international colleagues.
