Arthur Recruitment invites an experienced Legal Counsel to join its UK legal team in Slough, partnering with underwriting to provide practical, commercially focused advice across specialty insurance products and distribution arrangements.

The role supports product development, delegated authority negotiations, and regulatory matters, delivering clear guidance to underwriters while managing legal risk in a fast-moving market.

Qualificações

• Qualified lawyer with post-qualification experience in insurance law (2–6 years).
• Experience advising underwriters and product teams on regulatory matters.

Responsabilidades

• Act as a legal partner for underwriting teams across specialty lines of business.
• Provide day-to-day legal support on underwriting decisions, product development, policy wordings, endorsements, and coverage issues.
• Advise on regulatory, conduct risks, and delegated authority arrangements.
• Draft, review, and negotiate insurance-related agreements (delegated authority, distribution, binding).
• Support governance processes and ensure legal compliance across the product lifecycle.
• Collaborate with underwriting, claims, compliance, risk and operations to deliver integrated legal solutions.
• Deliver training to underwriters on regulatory changes and market trends.
