It’s an exciting time at Everywhen we have a great opportunity for a skilled and experienced Insurance professional to join us. As an Insurance Broking Regional Director, you will form an integral part of our North Divisional Senior Leadership Team, reporting to the Divisional Managing Director North.

This role, though classed as remote, will require you to travel across your region of Scotland and Northern Ireland for meetings and site visits. You can be based anywhere in the region within a reasonable distance from one of our General Insurance locations.

Some Of The Key Responsibilities Include

  • The primary focus of this role is providing strong, effective leadership of the Region, delivering the regional strategy linked to the overall divisional strategy, P&L and wider objectives through the team.
  • Support the redesign and integration of all trading resources into one singular structure, creating an effective workforce with clearly identifiable career pathways with key performance indicators.
  • Responsible for overseeing all aspects of trading in line with budgets, and constantly reviewing the market and relevant sectors to understand new opportunities, performance against competitors in the market, identify challenges and threats from external competition and maintain key internal relationships with Ardonagh Advisory stakeholders.
  • Lead and drive the team to deliver the best customer outcomes meeting all Consumer Duty requirements whilst working collaboratively with your Regional Director peers to achieve financial targets for both your region and the whole GI business.
  • Lead and role model all aspects of risk management, implementing plans which ensures every colleague meets risk and, where applicable quality assurance requirements ensuring effective monitoring which highlights trends to enable actions and mitigations to be put into place.
  • Work in collaboration with Central Functions including Marketing, Operations, Finance, HR, Compliance and Property to deliver the best service across the Region with a holistic view of all functions and their impact on the Region and its ability to deliver its strategy and objectives.
  • Accountable for the Regional Operations and optimal customer journey - balancing customer satisfaction and technical standards; implementing solutions, optimising resources and managing workflow; driving standardisation and continuous improvement in the Region, tracked and monitored by meaningful MI.

What We Are Looking For

  • An experienced people leader who has a strong track record of delivering sales growth across multiple teams and product mix.
  • An ability to think strategically to support their Divisional Managing Director with the implementation of our Growth through Excellence strategy.
  • Exceptional leadership skills to influence the delivery of our strategic plans through our people including our engagement and people retention plans which are critical to our success.
  • An ability to collaborate across peers and other central business functions to ensure all key priorities are delivered.
  • Excellent understanding of risk and regulation and the requirements needed for us to meet all aspects of Regulation, Quality Assurance and Consumer Duty.
  • A robust understanding of business processes and performance levers and the ability to demonstrate leadership of driving new ideas and innovation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels of an organization.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to gather and interpret data, perform market research, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Flexibility to travel you must be available to travel to our various offices and attend meetings which could include overnights stays.
