To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add an experienced Regional Supply Chain Director - EMEA located in Europe, to work remotely.

Responsible for leading a team of supply chain management professionals and developing and implementing world-class supply chain strategies that provide Flex and our customers with a strategic market advantage. Develop and drive supply chain strategies that are consistent with established company policies, worldwide material/procurement strategies.

What a typical day looks like:
  • Create and implement a global supply chain strategy in support of the global program, synchronized with business segment material strategies and metrics.
  • Process standardization and implementation support, driving standard supply chain solutions.
  • Implement programs to optimize inventory turnover, mitigate inventory exposure, and reduce risk for Flex and our customers. This includes contractual excess and obsolescence terms and supplier-managed inventory programs.
  • Manage and support sites on supply chain priority concerns and escalations, including critical material expedite requests.
  • Drive strategic procurement initiatives to maximize cost reduction, and measure and report project status internally and to customers.
  • Consolidate input from commodity managers, site materials management, and personal efforts for program sourcing documents that maximize flexibility and maintain cost-performance targets.
  • Support Design Services Procurement Manager activities for new programs for global customers, including providing forward price projections.
  • Ensure adherence to the highest ethical standards in procurement, in line with corporate requirements.
  • Interact with Business Development and Global Account Management teams to assist with customer meetings, escalations, and sales support.
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in a lead supply chain role within manufacturing.
  • Degree in a supply chain-related field.
  • Ability to analyze complex documents and manage supplier relationships.
  • Proficiency with mathematical concepts like probability and statistical inference.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions.
  • Understanding of effective supply chain management in manufacturing environments.
  • Negotiation and contracting skills, with the ability to work with legal support and suppliers.
  • Eligibility to work in Ireland and willingness to travel within EMEA occasionally.
