Your role
My client is seeking an experienced pricing or reserving practitioner to take up the role of Portfolio Manager. The focus of the role will be on Marine, but experience in Marine, London Market, or Specialty Lines is not mandatory. All backgrounds are welcome, as training will be provided.
This role offers a holistic view of all aspects of the business related to the business line, including pricing, reserving, underwriting, finance, and claims. You will drive performance through insights, support, and challenge, managing performance and integrating stakeholder perspectives to understand and influence business impacts.

Requirements
Candidates should have prior experience in pricing or reserving. Experience in London Market, Commercial, or Personal Lines is acceptable. Actuarial exams or qualifications are advantageous but not essential.

You should be highly numerate, capable of analyzing data and storytelling, with good Excel skills.
Benefits
The salary is up to £85,000 with an excellent benefits package. The role offers hybrid working with an expectation of three days in the office for regular interaction with the business.
