Job summary

4Recruitment Services Ltd in Enfield is seeking an Insurance Officer to manage the council's insurance claims and risk portfolio. This full-time hybrid role requires handling claims from notification to settlement, with two days in the office.

You will coordinate with insurers, solicitors, loss adjusters and internal teams, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Non-life insurance experience (public or private sector) of motor, public liability, employers liability and property insurance claims.
• Claims negotiation and settlement expertise.
• Knowledge of insurance policy cover and liability.
• Strong communication skills (telephone and face-to-face).
• Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to analyse data and present well-reasoned conclusions.
