The role

We’re now looking for a motivated & driven Insurance Consultant based from our Swindon office, to join the Jensten Group. Working in our New Business team (Personal Lines), the main aim of the role is to drive growth with new business, maximising opportunities with existing customers, as well as following up on leads & referrals. This is an exciting time to join our business, and the successful candidate can expect career progression, training & development within the role and Insurance Industry in general. Key responsibilities include:

  • Maximising sales within the New Business team.
  • Delivering excellent customer service and administering insurance policies.
  • Hitting and exceeding targets.
  • Building relationships through strong communication skills.
  • Working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Ensuring FCA compliance and providing high-quality customer service.

About you

As an Insurance Consultant, you’ll receive full training & support and have the opportunity to gain relevant qualifications such as Cert CII. The role requires working every other Saturday (half-day, with time off during the week), and offers uncapped commissions. You should have:

  • Experience in Personal Lines insurance.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Proven sales experience and ability to generate new business.
  • Excellent telephone manner and sales flair.
  • Drive and passion to develop within Insurance and sales.
  • Previous experience in similar roles (telephone and face-to-face sales).
  • Attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
