You will perform operational, financial and compliance audits, prepare clear audit reports, identify risks, review controls, and reconcile improvements while supporting ongoing action tracking and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• FCA/regulatory awareness or experience with insurance compliance
• Auditing experience in financial or insurance sectors
• Strong attention to detail and ability to influence stakeholders
• Experience in evaluating internal controls and governance processes

Responsibilities

• Evaluate compliance with FCA requirements, internal policies, and procedures
• Conduct audits to assess adherence to regulatory standards and company policies
• Prepare clear and structured audit reports outlining findings, risks and recommendations
• Identify operational, financial, and compliance risks within the business
• Assess the adequacy of controls implemented to mitigate those risks
• Recommend improvements and monitor the implementation of actions
• Support colleagues in building relationships with insurance brokers and encouraging regular meetings
