Job summary

First Choice Recruitment Services is supporting a Cirencester based client hiring a Client Account Handler. The role focuses on delivering high-quality customer service in insurance, with FCA compliance at its core, and managing meetings and client relationships.

Hybrid working is available: three days in the office and two days at home (Mon and Fri). You will handle new business, renewals, mid-term adjustments, claims, and queries while maintaining accurate data and professional communication

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the insurance industry; knowledge of property insurance is a plus.
• Excellent customer service skills and professional telephone manner.
• Accurate data entry and numeracy aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Arrange and manage meetings and office visits.
• Advise clients on existing products according to their needs.
• Ensure FCA regulation and company procedures are followed.
• Handle complaints in line with procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients and provide product guidance.
• Actively secure new business by contacting insurers and renewals via re-broking.
• Attend underwriter visits when requested.
• Administration – accurate data management.
