CKB Recruitment Ltd in Cardiff is seeking a Business Development Executive for its insurance broker client. You will create new business opportunities by contacting prospective clients and discussing their insurance needs, with progression to higher earnings as you develop insurance knowledge.

Offering a £26,000-£28,000 base plus bonuses, the role promises a lively, progression-focused environment and company pension benefits in a permanent, full-time setting.

Qualifications

• Friendly, professional and confident telephone manner.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport.
• Motivation to make proactive calls and start conversations with new people.

Responsibilities

• Contact potential clients by telephone, email and other channels.

• Work with the broking team to turn interest into opportunities.
• Keep accurate records of conversations, outcomes and follow-ups.
• Organise workload to prioritise promising opportunities.
