Job summary

Aon is seeking an Insurance Bid & Pursuit Project Manager to lead end-to-end bid, RfP, and presentation projects. You will collaborate with broking, claims risk, and specialist teams across the UK to develop client-focused solutions and demonstrate Aon's value.

The role is hybrid, with office locations across Scotland and the North of England, including Manchester. You will manage multiple projects, balance priorities, and drive high-quality, compliant submissions in line with client objectives.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial insurance, risk management or broking, including reviewing insurance programmes and coverage structures.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, capable of influencing at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end bid, RfP, and presentation projects delivering high-quality, compliant submissions.
• Develop understanding of clients' businesses, risks, insurance programmes, and priorities.
• Collaborate with brokers, claims, risk consultants and specialists to craft client solutions.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to develop bid strategies, key messages and client presentations.
• Review and improve proposal content to stay clear, accurate and aligned to client objectives.
• Manage multiple projects, balance priorities, and ensure on-time delivery to quality standards.
• Lead post-bid reviews and share best practices, using approved AI tools to improve future submissions.

What the day will look like

You'll lead competitive tenders, client proposals, and strategic business opportunities. Working closely with colleagues across broking, claims, risk consulting, and specialist teams to develop solutions for clients, and demonstrate the value Aon can provide.

• Work with brokers, claims colleagues, risk consultants, and specialists to develop solutions for clients

• Review and improve proposal content to ensure it is clear, accurate, compliant, and aligned to the client's objectives
• Manage multiple projects, balancing priorities, driving collaboration, and ensuring delivery to agreed timescales and quality standards
• Lead post-bid reviews, share best practice, and use approved AI tools to improve the quality and efficiency of future submissions
