Job summary

Next Employment Ltd is seeking an entry-level Insurance Administration Assistant based in Cheltenham. You will begin with a blend of classroom learning and on-the-job training to build the foundations of underwriting support, document creation and data handling.

You will work under supervision while progressing toward the Cert CII qualification within an 18–24 month apprenticeship, developing key skills in information management, compliance, and professional communication.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at Grade 5 or above.
• Commitment to studying and achieving the Cert CII within 18-24 months via level 3 apprenticeship.
• Ability to analyse information and follow policies and procedures.
• Ability to problem solve and make decisions with guidance.

Responsibilities

• Document Creation: complete standard document templates with accuracy.
• Data Entry: view, enter, amend, update and submit data accurately.
• Managing Information: create and maintain electronic and paper files.
• Departmental Reports: review and update reports and take appropriate action.
• Reconciliation and cash allocation.
• Creation of Statements and Payments.
