Due to an expansion within their team, a position for an Insurance Analyst has arisen in their Croydon office.
Your new role
Your new permanent job working as an Insurance Analyst is an entry level position that will provide an excellent foundation in the world of speciality insurance. The types of insurance written are complicated and will test and develop an individual's problem solving and mathematical abilities. The role will work closely with other departments to gain an understanding of their processes but also the general world of insurance. Your day will be spent mainly in Microsoft Excel, reviewing, preparing and reporting data to various teams. Duties will include assisting with the end-to-end process of binding insurance policies including data entry and documentation management, working through queries and longer-term projects. Other duties include providing support to various teams within the operations department, assisting with administrative tasks and participating in cross-functional projects as required and adhering to all compliance regulations.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have strong problem-solving skills and confidence with strong written and spoken communication skills to enable communication at all levels and have the ability to handle a varied workload and competing priorities. You will be organised so you can work with a large volume of individual tasks and have proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel. You will also be comfortable working with sales ledger and administration systems and be analytical with a strong attention to detail. You will have personal drive and resilience in established and new/changing situations and be a team player with a strong interest in the performance of the business. You will have the ability to support success and timely delivery in a complex, multi-disciplinary environment and be commercially savvy, bright, energetic and positive with a 'can do' attitude and a focus on getting things done.
