Job summary

BBL Property recruitment Ltd is seeking an Insurance Administrator for a hybrid role based in Southend on Sea. You will support the insurance function within the finance team, coordinating with brokers and handling queries from residents regarding insurance, ground rent and service charges.

The role offers a negotiable basic salary, with an annual bonus and private healthcare benefits, and a two-day work-from-home arrangement alongside three days in the Southend-on-Sea office with parking.

Qualifications

• Experience in admin support and diary management.
• Strong IT proficiency and familiarity with basic finance processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Place Buildings Insurance cover for a portfolio of properties, coordinating with brokers and claims handlers.
• Provide administrative support for insurance and wider property finance matters.
• Answer resident queries and disputes, including Ground Rent and Service Charge where relevant.
• Issue invoices, process payments and assist with arrears recovery.

Insurance Administrator – Southend on Sea (Hybrid) - £excellent

We’re working with a major Property Services company based in Southend on Sea, Essex.

Within their Finance Team, they are looking to hire an Insurance Administrator / Insurance Associate as follows:

• Hybrid working (2 days per week WFH), 3 days per week reporting into a Southend on Sea office with free parking
• Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, providing administrative support in relation to insurance and wider property finance matters
• Responsible for placing Buildings Insurance cover across a portfolio of property, working closely with brokers and claims handers to ensure policy suitability in terms of cost and cover
• Answering resident queries and disputes, predominantly insurance related, but also touching on Ground Rent and Service Charge matters.
• Issuing invoices, processing payments, and recovering arrears
• Property and/or insurance background preferred, but training provided in-post
• Good admin, IT and communication skills essential
