Get Recruited is partnering with an independent insurance brokerage in Tadcaster to recruit a Commercial Account Executive. You will take ownership of an existing client book, manage accounts across commercial, rural and private client insurance, and develop new business opportunities in a small, close-knit team.

With a nine-day fortnight and an existing client base to inherit, you can shape your activities around your strengths while delivering tailored advice and FCA-compliant service.

Qualifications

• At least two years' experience as a Commercial Account Executive.
• Cert CII qualified or above.
• Confident building lasting relationships and providing advice tailored to individual clients.
• Self-motivated with the organisation and attention to detail needed to manage your own workload.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of an existing client book, building relationships and understanding each client's insurance needs.
• Manage and develop accounts across commercial, rural and private client insurance.
• Identify opportunities within the existing portfolio to provide additional cover where it meets the client's needs.
• Win new business through relationship building and a focus shaped around your experience and specialist interests.
• Provide clear, tailored advice, helping clients understand their cover and make informed decisions.
• Balance the ongoing care of existing accounts with developing a sustainable pipeline of new business.
• Maintain accurate client records and ensure FCA requirements and internal procedures are met.
• Work closely with colleagues in a small team to deliver a consistent, personal service.

Get Recruited is partnering with an independent insurance brokerage in Tadcaster to recruit a Commercial Account Executive. You'll inherit an existing client base and have the freedom to shape your new business activity around your strengths.

The portfolio covers commercial SME, rural and HNW/UHNW private clients. Whether your specialism is commercial insurance, agricultural risks or private clients, there's scope to develop that focus within a small, close-knit team.

For an experienced Commercial Account Executive who enjoys looking after clients and developing new relationships, this offers autonomy over how you manage and grow your book, alongside a nine-day fortnight.

THE COMMERCIAL ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE ROLE:

• Take ownership of an existing client book, building relationships and understanding each client's insurance needs.
• Manage and develop accounts across commercial, rural and private client insurance.
• Identify opportunities within the existing portfolio to provide additional cover where it meets the client's needs.

THE PERSON:

• At least two years' experience as a Commercial Account Executive, including managing client relationships and developing business.
• Applications are welcome from Insurance Account Executives or Commercial Client Executives with the relevant commercial insurance experience.
• Cert CII qualified or above.
• Confident building lasting relationships and providing advice tailored to individual clients.
• Self-motivated, with the organisation and attention to detail needed to manage your own workload.
• Comfortable balancing client service with new business development.
• Acturis experience would be beneficial, but is not essential.
