EDF Energy invites applications for an Instrumentation and Control Engineering Graduate on the Hinkley Point C project. The 16‑month programme starts September 2027, offering hands‑on experience in control equipment maintenance, protection systems, installation support, software assurance and cyber security.

You will develop core engineering skills, work with established teams, and position yourself for a permanent role, while benefiting from a strong Early Careers community and sector‑leading

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a STEM subject.
Right to work in the UK is required; sponsorship may be considered.
Security Vetting criteria apply, usually needing UK residence for 3 of the last 5 years.
Assessment Centre online on 25 November 2026 is part of the process.

Responsibilities

Gain hands-on experience across engineering activities including control equipment maintenance, protection systems, installation support, software assurance and cyber security.
Support commissioning, documentation, and validation testing with experienced teams.
Contribute to design reviews and deliverables for EDF's Hinkley Point C project.
