Job summary

JAB Recruitment seeks an experienced Instrument & Controls Engineer to support an offshore North Sea asset. You will provide technical support within a multi-disciplinary asset team, delivering engineering solutions and brownfield modifications while coordinating with operations, EPC contractors and system vendors.

The role requires broad Instrument & Systems Engineering expertise, offshore operator experience, and a solid understanding of IEC 61511 and BS EN 60079.

Qualifications

• Broad Instrument & Systems Engineering experience.
• Experience supporting an offshore operator.
• Knowledge of IEC 61511 and BS EN 60079.
• Instrument specifications, datasheets and design calculations.
• Understanding of P&IDs, loop diagrams, pneumatic hook-ups and termination drawings.
• Experience with Management of Change processes.
• Strong project development and execution experience.
• Experience managing engineering contractors and service providers.
• Ability to review and approve engineering deliverables including calculations, datasheets, vendor documentation and workpacks.
