Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking an Instrument Technician for a site-based permanent role in Guildford / Basingstoke. You will perform maintenance across mechanical, electrical, and C&I systems, plan and execute shutdowns, and use CMMS to track work while ensuring regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate has NVQ/apprenticeship level in instrumentation or electrical, and strong knowledge of plant maintenance and safety standards. Energy sector experience and good communication are essential.

Qualifications

• NVQ/apprenticeship in instrumentation or electrical.
• Strong knowledge of plant maintenance - mechanical, electrical, and C&I.
• Understanding of ATEX/DSEAR and hazardous area requirements.
• Experience with shutdowns, maintenance planning, and CMMS systems.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
