This role involves being part of the electrical and instrumentation engineering team, focusing on building maintenance, breakdown issues, and supporting the installation and commissioning of projects.

The salary will be determined based on your skills, qualifications, and experience.

Main Responsibilities

  • Perform routine examination, inspection, maintenance, and testing on plant and equipment, including calibration checks, stroke tests, loop checks, troubleshooting, receipt verification, and performance verification of interlocks, alarms, and controls.
  • Support installation, modification, and commissioning of instrumentation equipment for projects and improvements.
  • Ensure all maintenance, breakdown, and project tasks comply with Safe System of Work (SSOW) and workplace standards.

Ideal Candidate

Essential criteria include:

  • Recognised apprenticeship in instrumentation control engineering.
  • Experience in maintenance of process plant and equipment.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and documentation.
  • Self-motivated, resilient, and a team player with good communication skills.
  • Flexible to learn new skills and develop professionally.
  • Ability to obtain SC security clearance.

Desirable criteria include:

  • IPAF 3a & 3b certification.
  • CompEx Ex1 – Ex4 or IECEx equivalent.
