This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Instrumentation Technician to join a dynamic engineering team within a specialist systems company. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing instrumentation and control systems, ensuring equipment runs efficiently and safely. This role suits a technician with a strong mechanical and electrical background who enjoys working both independently and collaboratively.

Role Responsibilities Include:

• Installation, maintenance, and repair of instrumentation and control systems
• Regular inspections and troubleshooting for optimal equipment performance
• Working with engineering teams to resolve technical issues
• Designing and modifying instrument layouts using AutoCAD
• Documentation and record keeping for maintenance activities
• Providing technical support to clients and internal teams
• Assisting in training junior technicians

Requirements:

• Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge
• Ability to read and interpret schematics
• Experience working with PLC. AutoCAD also desirable.
