Ideal candidates have an engineering apprenticeship or NVQ, knowledge of ATEX BS EN standards, and experience with instrumentation and control. Start date mid-October 2026 for an 8-week onshore assignment.

This is an excellent contract opportunity for experienced Instrument Technicians with a strong C&I / instrumentation background, ideally gained within a chemical, petrochemical or other heavy industrial environment.
Start Date: Mid-October 2026
Rate: £38-£40 per hour PAYE or CIS
Duration: 8 weeks
Location: Onshore - Chemical Industry

The work will entail carrying out preventative and corrective maintenance, including functional testing of safety systems and fault finding to resolve and eliminate equipment problems and malfunctions.
The ideal candidate should be able to follow work cards with technical information covering instrumentation defects, calibrations, fault finding on an operational plant. He or she will should also able to work under safety documentation following the site safety rules.
