Job summary

NPTC Group of Colleges invites applications for an Engineering department instructor in Neath. You will contribute to delivering education to current and future engineers, with potential pathways into teaching later in your career.

Job description

An exciting opportunity to join our Engineering department has arisen where you will play a key role in the delivery of education to future Engineers.This role can also provide you with worthwhile experience if you wish to pursue a career in teaching at a later stage.

Salary

Scale 5, Points 25-28, £32,241 - £34,720 per annum.

Contract

Full time, fixed term until 7 June 2027 or return of the post holder whichever is sooner.

About you

You will need to hold a Level 3 NVQ in relevant discipline and have the relevant experience along with level 2 qualifications in Maths and English and be IT Literate to level 2.

The College also employs a dedicated Health and Wellbeing Co-ordinator, who provides support and organises very popular events across the Group, as well as providing access to a variety of free wellbeing resources.

There is free car parking at all of our main colleges as well as bike storage, and if you are based in the South we can also offer a 10% discount at the Lilliput Day Nursery in Neath.
