Job description

Kardex is seeking a full-time Installation Technician in the Midlands area, covering all of the UK.

As an Installation Technician, you will be responsible for installing our electro-mechanical equipment.

You will serve as a brand ambassador, embodying Kardex’s Core Values of Teamwork, Respect, Passion, and Reliability in every interaction with customers and colleagues. You will represent the Life Cycle Service department at customer sites across the region.

This role requires flexibility and a willingness to dedicate the necessary time and effort to meet customer needs, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty with each interaction.

Your Tasks and Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality customer service according to established policies.
• Communicate effectively with customers and the service desk at scheduled intervals.
• Report accurately on each visit using appropriate documentation or call trackers in a timely manner.
• Work independently while maintaining appropriate communication.
• Assist colleagues as needed.
• Maintain personal PPE and ensure inspections are up to date.
• Adhere to quality and health and safety standards.

Your Profile

• Proven electrical background preferred.
• Solid mechanical knowledge.
• Motivated to work in a field role.
• Full driving license required.
• Experience in technical, mechanical, or electronic fields.
• IT literacy.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer handling skills.
• Willingness to travel, including overnight stays.
