We are seeking a Site Installation Supervisor interested in working for a market leader in electrical power infrastructure. You will work on large-scale projects focused on enabling green energy transmission. You will join the Hitachi Energy HVDC Installation Department, a global team in 15+ countries, responsible for executing mechanical and electrical installation activities worldwide. The initial project will be near Norwich, with future projects potentially in the UK or globally, requiring willingness to travel.
You will be part of a team of Hitachi Energy employees with diverse responsibilities on site. There will be a Site Manager overseeing all work, along with specialists in quality, safety, planning, etc. You will work with installation experts to install and test electrical and mechanical equipment procured by Hitachi Energy, managing subcontractors performing these tasks.

How You’ll Make an Impact
Supervise on-site installations (both AC and DC) in high voltage projects. Manage and guide subcontractors to ensure efficient, cost-effective completion of installation activities, adhering to contract specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
Contribute to planning and implementing installation activities.
Coordinate installation activities with the Installation Manager and/or Site Manager.
Work with engineering to ensure needed documentation is used during execution and provide mark-ups for as-built documentation.
Maintain good relationships with internal and external suppliers.
Your Background
Technical education, preferably in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience in electrical or mechanical installation in large projects.
At least 4-6 years of relevant work experience.
Experience in installation supervision is advantageous.
Previous experience with HVDC, FACTS, or Substation projects is preferred.
CDM certification is preferred.
