First Military Recruitment is currently seeking an Installation Supervisor on behalf of one of our clients.

Duties and Responsibilities for the Installation Supervisor:
- The Installation Supervisor reports to the Depot Manager and is responsible for the operational aspects of the branch.
- Coordinate with internal colleagues and external suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and ISO accreditation standards.
- Manage, motivate, recruit, train, and develop installation technicians.
- Conduct technical training as needed.
- Ensure technicians adhere to health and safety policies.
- Manage PPE ordering, issuance, and accounting.
- Oversee insulation materials and related items inventory.
- Perform site visits to assess installation quality and standards.
- Report survey issues to the Depot Manager.
- Manage the fleet of installation and inspection vehicles, ensuring proper maintenance and documentation.
- Conduct driver license checks and maintain records.
- Ensure vehicle safety features are operational and regularly audited.
- Maintain tachograph compliance.
- Assist with customer complaints through site visits and reporting.
- Complete tasks within deadlines and perform general administrative duties.
- Record technician times, vehicle info, and materials used daily.
- Maintain equipment registers and safety inspection records.
- Conduct Toolbox Talks and maintain technician training records.
- Ensure cleanliness and safety in the warehouse.
- Work flexibly to accommodate working hours.
- Maintain professionalism and courtesy at all times.
- Adhere strictly to health and safety procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Report on sales forecasts and support customer satisfaction initiatives.
- Coordinate with external agencies (e.g., health and safety inspectors, fire services).
- Manage stock levels and reporting.
Skills and Qualifications for the Installation Supervisor:
- Proven cavity wall and loft installation experience. Experience with in-house computer packages and databases is essential.
- Experience in the insulation/renewable energy industry is desirable.
- Minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade C or above, including English and Maths.
- Full UK driving license and forklift truck certification are essential.
