Our client based in Chandlers Ford requires an Installations Supervisor to join their busy team.

Based in Chandlers Ford (full JD in files)

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Promote and exercise the company's mission statement and core values to deliver a uniformed approach across the UK network.
  2. Supervise all aspects of the solution project from conception to completion with the Solutions Team.
  3. Liaise with Installation Manager regarding project progress and potential issues.
  4. Carry out on-site RAMS processes, ensuring risks are identified and control measures are in place, communicating effectively with staff and customers.
  5. Supervise daily workload of Installation Operatives, subcontractors, and third parties until job completion.
  6. Train, develop, and motivate staff, ensuring effective management of all Installation Operatives.
  7. Lead and develop team members across the network with confidence and expertise.
  8. Assist with vehicle loading/unloading, checking paperwork, and recording damages or missing items.
  9. Deliver on-site safety standards and meet customer KPIs.
  10. Report safety concerns promptly and communicate methodology changes as needed.
  11. Build and nurture client relationships, gaining trust and confidence in our services.
  12. Identify and suggest innovative solutions for business improvement.
  13. Maintain and improve QHSE standards, adhering to procedural and legal requirements.

The above responsibilities are not exhaustive and may include additional tasks as required.

Qualifications & Experience:

Essential:

  • Experience in a supervisory role within water industry, construction, gas, or oil sectors.
  • Hold a SSSTS or similar qualification.
  • Knowledge of site Health & Safety standards.
  • Physically able to perform role requirements.
  • Ability to work on client sites, including construction and water facilities.
  • Willing to be hands-on and work to high quality standards.
  • Ability to build relationships and handle challenging situations positively.
  • Calm under pressure, adaptable to delays.
  • Flexible working hours, including being on call and working late if needed.
  • Willing to travel across the UK and work away from home.
  • Full UK driving license (no more than 6 points).

Preferred:

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Site Supervision.
  • IOSH Managing Safety certification.
  • CSCS card holder.
  • National Water Hygiene Card.
  • Confined space training.
