Job summary

Focus Resourcing Limited is seeking a Medical Equipment Project Manager to lead installation projects across NHS sites from planning to handover. The role bases in Derby with weekly site attendance and UK travel.

You will coordinate estates teams, contractors and clinical staff, manage timelines and budgets, and provide clear updates to stakeholders while ensuring compliance and safety standards.

Medical Equipment Project Manager

Are you an experienced Project Manager with a background in medical equipment installation, commissioning or implementation?

We are working with an established organisation looking for a Medical Equipment Project Manager to manage multiple installation projects across NHS sites.

You will need to be in Derby once a week, covering the Midlands with flexibility to travel to other UK locations when required.

The role:

• Managing medical equipment installation projects from planning through to completion
• Coordinating contractors, Estates teams, clinical users and internal stakeholders
• Managing project plans, timelines, budgets, resources, risks and changes
• Attending NHS client meetings and acting as a key point of contact
• Ensuring installations are delivered safely, on time and within budget
• Providing clear project updates, reports and documentation

About you:

• Experience within medical equipment installation, commissioning, servicing or implementation
• Strong Project Management experience, ideally across multiple sites/projects
• Experience working with NHS/hospital environments would be highly beneficial
• Confident working with Estates teams, contractors and clinical stakeholders
• Excellent organisation, communication and stakeholder management skills
• Comfortable with regular UK travel
