Job Title: Installation Operative

Location: Middlesbrough, TS2 Area

Hours: 7.30am - 5pm (Full-Time)

Salary: GBP 14.96 per hour

Contract Duration: Ends 23/12/2025

Main Purpose of Job

Specializing in STREET LIGHTING, responsible for completing reactive and routine maintenance on contract assets, and installing street lighting for civil clients.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

1. Perform a full range of street lighting installation tasks, including cable detection, excavation, trunking/cable and column installation, and reinstatement in grass verges, roadside, and highway environments.
2. Work primarily in Middlesbrough and the Teesside area, with occasional work from Northumberland to Scunthorpe.
3. Operate Hiab vehicles and perform banksman duties as required.
4. Participate in relevant training to meet the requirements of the role.
5. Use a bespoke database and basic computer skills to manage work projects via tablet (training provided).
6. Assist with the Festive Decoration Programme, including installing and dismantling decorations.
7. Periodically undertake painting tasks for street lighting assets.
8. Adhere to the company's policies, management plans, and procedures, including drug and alcohol testing policies.
9. Perform other duties as reasonably required within the department, with any significant changes documented and agreed upon.
