Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking an Installation Technician (International Field Service) to join our Gateshead area team. You will install machinery, interpret technical drawings, and engage directly with clients on site across international assignments.

The ideal candidate has a time-served apprenticeship or equivalent experience in manufacturing, strong fault-finding skills, and the ability to travel globally. On-site training and career development are provided.

• Time-served apprenticeship or equivalent experience in manufacturing.
• Customer-facing communication skills.
• Awareness of field service roles and responsibilities.
• Servicing, repair, and fault-finding experience (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Installation of machinery (training provided).
• Establishing and maintaining site service contracts with external providers.
• Fault-finding and servicing machines where required.
• Troubleshooting equipment as needed.
• Reading and working with technical/engineering drawings.
• Travel between home and travel-based assignments.

• Working flexibly between home and travel-based assignments
