Job summary
Securitas Technology is seeking an Installation Engineer to cover Scotland and the North East of England. You will install CCTV, Intruder, Access Control, and Fire Systems, and you will oversee commissioning, testing, and documentation.
The role requires a proven track record in security installations, strong communication, and a focus on delivering projects on time and on budget. You will work with the installation manager and teams to ensure a smooth handover to operations.
Qualifications
- 8 years’ experience installing and commissioning security systems.
- Experience with CCTV, Access Control, Intruder, and Fire systems.
- Strong commercial focus to deliver projects on budget and on time.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Responsibilities
- Install CCTV, Intruder, Access Control, and Fire Systems to high standards.
- Undertake commissioning including testing, validation, and documentation.
- Provide commissioning documentation to back office in a timely manner.
- Maintain health and safety compliance and report risks.
- Coordinate with operations and maintenance for a smooth handover.
- Support site surveys and installation meetings.
- Report issues to Project Manager/Installation Manager.
