Job summary

Securitas Technology UK is seeking an experienced Installation Engineer to cover Scotland and the North region. You will install CCTV, Intruder, Access Control, and Fire systems and oversee commissioning to ensure compliance and performance.

The role requires hands-on installation skills, attention to safety, and clear documentation for handover to the back office. You will report to the Installation Manager and collaborate with project teams to support site surveys, testing, and smooth

Qualifications

• Installation experience in CCTV, Intruder, Access Control and Fire systems.
• Minimum 8 years' experience in installing/commissioning security products.
• Strong commercial focus to deliver projects on budget, on time and to quality standards.
• Experience of project delivery and planning to anticipate future requirements and mitigate risk.
• Sound knowledge of IP technology and networks would be beneficial.
• Proactive, able to work alone and think on your feet with a can-do attitude.
• Good communication skills and excellent customer service record.

Responsibilities

• Install CCTV, Intruder, Access Control, and Fire systems to high standards meeting requirements.
• Undertake commissioning including testing, validation and documentation for systems of varying size.
• Provide compliant as-installed information and commissioning documentation to back office timely.
• Promote health and safety and identify risks while reporting faults to the appropriate department.
• Maintain professional demeanor and observe safety regulations at all times.
• Communicate effectively and solve problems on site with customers.
• Report to Installation Manager or Project Manager on issues and updates.
• Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams for smooth transition to full operation.
• Support on-site surveys and installation meetings; perform additional duties as needed.
