Job summary

Mitsubishi Electric – UK is seeking a Field-based Elevator Installer in London to install elevators and escalators to Mitsubishi Electric standards, ensuring on-time delivery and quality. You will interpret customer specifications, align them with available solutions, and support installation, testing and commissioning throughout the lifecycle.

The role includes regular progress reporting, attending site meetings, supervising materials and plant, and ensuring compliance with health and safety

Qualifications

• Experience installing elevators/escalators to MEU-UK standards.
• Ability to interpret customer specifications and align with available solutions.
• Ensure compliance with technical and regulatory requirements during installation, testing and commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Install Lifts in line with MEU-UK Installation Methodology.
• Provide regular progress reporting of the lift installation.
• Attend morning briefings, toolbox talks, and customer meetings.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment (plant or scaffolding).
• Control and manage materials and plant.
• Unloading and distribution of materials and plant.
• Assist throughout life cycle from installation to commissioning.

Skills/Responsibilities

To be successful in this role you will need to:

• Installation of Lifts in line with MEU-UK Installation Methodology
• Regular Progress reporting of the Lift Installation
• Attending Morning Briefing, Tool Box Talks, Customer Meetings
• Regular inspections of equipment (Plant or Scaffolding)
• Control and Management of Materials and Plant
• Unloading and Distribution of Materials and Plant
• Assistance/attendance throughout life cycle of installation to commissioning
