Job summary

Talented People is hiring an Installation Electrician to deliver EV charging installations across Reading, Slough and London. You will install charging points, verify electrical installations and complete EICs/MEIWCs while complying with 18th Edition regulations. A full UK driving licence and relevant NVQ/AM2 levels are required.

The role offers £41,000 per year plus a company van, fuel card, tools and ongoing training, with uncapped overtime and career progression opportunities.

Qualifications

NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or working towards).
AM2 Completed or working towards.
City & Guilds Level 2 & 3 Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

Install EV charging points in domestic and commercial properties.
Install new electrical circuits in accordance with BS7671 (18th Edition Wiring Regulations).
Carry out Initial Verification of Electrical Installations.
Complete Electrical Installation Certificates (EICs) and Minor Electrical Installation Works Certificates (MEIWCs).
Diagnose and repair faults on existing EV charging installations.
Carry out routine maintenance, inspection and testing of EV charging equipment.
Complete site surveys and determine suitable cable routes and installation methods.
Ensure all work complies with manufacturer specifications, electrical regulations and company quality standards.
Maintain excellent health and safety standards.
Deliver a professional and customer-focused service at every site.

Our client is looking for qualified Electricians to join their growing team, delivering EV charger installations across Reading, Slough & London.
