Job summary

Echo Personnel is seeking an experienced Installation Electrician for a well-established industrial electrical company based in Rushden. The role offers a permanent position within a stable industrial and commercial installation environment.

Salary up to £42,000 per annum. You will carry out installations across various sites, work on MCCB panels, control panels and emergency stop systems, and support EICR testing as required.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial electrical installations across sites.
• 18th Edition City & Guilds qualification (essential).
• NVQ Level 3 / AM2 or equivalent (essential).
• ECS or CSCS card (essential).
• 2391 Testing & Inspection (preferred/essential depending on client).
• Ability to work at height.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out industrial electrical installations across customer sites (recycling, printing, farming, processing plants).
• Install electrical supplies, lighting, distribution boards and MCCB panels (up to 2000A).
• Work on control panels and emergency stop systems.
• Support electrical maintenance and EICR testing as needed.
• Work independently and as part of a team on installation projects.
• Deliver high workmanship and customer service on all sites.
• Ensure work is completed safely and to current standards.

Salary:

up to £42,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out industrial electrical installations across a range of customer sites including recycling, printing, farming, and processing plants
• Install electrical supplies, lighting systems, distribution boards, and MCCB panels (up to 2000 amp systems)
• Work on control panels and emergency stop systems
• Support electrical maintenance and EICR testing requirements when needed
• Work both independently and as part of a team on installation projects
• Deliver high standards of workmanship and customer service on all sites
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with current regulations and standards

Requirements:

• Experience in industrial electrical installation work
• 18th Edition City & Guilds qualification (essential)
• NVQ Level 3 / AM2 or equivalent (essential)
• ECS or CSCS card (essential)
• 2391 Testing & Inspection qualification (preferred/essential depending on client requirement)
• Ability to work at height
