Job summary

TXM Recruit are supporting an industrial electrical company based in Rushden, Northampton, who have been operating over 40 years with the onboarding of 2 new permanent installation engineers.

The role involves installing distribution boards, wiring lights, and maintaining MCCB boards across industrial sites. 40 hours per week, door-to-door pay, with travel time paid. Salary £34,000–£42,000 DOE and a company van is provided.

Qualifications

• 18th Edition qualification required.
• 2391 Test and Inspection Cert preferred.
• NVQ Level 3 / AM2 accreditation.

Responsibilities

• Install distribution boards and electrical supplies on industrial sites.
• Install lights and ensure correct 16A to 2000A MCCB boards.
• Maintain Emergency Stop supply systems and control panels.
• Perform other electrical repairs as needed.

Job description

Installation Electrician - IND1

TXM Recruit are supporting an industrial electrical company based in Rushden, Northampton, who have been operating over 40 years with the onboarding of 2 new permanent installation engineers. The company have won the Northamptonshires SME Employer of the Year within the last 10 years and looking to continue this success.

• Salary -£34,000 - £42,000 DOE
• Hours -40 hours per week 8am to 4pm. 20 minute guaranteed to stop for food and breaks when driving etc
• Location- 60 minute radius from Rushden NN10
• Other -Door to Door pay, Work Van / Fuel. 6am-6pm 1x rate, 6pm-12pm 1.5x rate, 12pm-6am 2x rate
• Any weekend work is double time
• Travel time paid once reached Site or when reached NN10 postcode

The work will mix the installation of products to EICR and Maintenance on a variety of industrial sites including Recycling, Printing, Farming and Processing Plants.

• 16amp Supply up to 2000amp MCCB Board
• Emergency Stop Supply systems
• Control Panel repairs
• Plenty of other electrical repairs as and when required
