Regional Recruitment are hiring an Installation & Commissioning Engineer to join a Leicester-based team installing and commissioning large-scale industrial plant across asphalt, concrete and related industries. The role is full-time and site-based with a competitive salary DOE.

You will travel to site locations, perform pre-commissioning checks, fault-find on complex electromechanical systems and provide customer training on operation and maintenance.

Formación

• Time-served mechanical or electrical apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 / ONC / HNC.
• Minimum 5 years' experience installing and commissioning large industrial plant.
• Strong mechanical fitting or electrical installation background.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsabilidades

• Install and commission asphalt plants and associated equipment
• Carry out pre-commissioning checks, testing and functional proving
• Fault-find on large industrial assemblies and control systems
• Install mechanical components, conveyors, dryers, burners and mixers
• Install and test hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Wire and test three-phase systems, control panels and motor circuits
• Support installation, testing and commissioning of plant equipment
• Produce commissioning reports, documentation, risk assessments and method statements
• Train customers on operation, maintenance and basic fault diagnosis
• Support manufacturing and production during peak demand

Conocimientos

Minimum 5 years' experience installing

Strong mechanical fitting background

Educación

Full UK driving licence

Qualifications

• Time-served Mechanical or Electrical apprenticeship, or equivalent NVQ Level 3 / ONC / HNC
• Minimum 5 years' experience installing and commissioning large industrial plant
• Strong mechanical fitting or electrical installation background
• Full UK driving licence

Knowledge & Experience

• Industrial plant installation and commissioning
• Mechanical fitting or electrical installation
• Technical fault-finding on electromechanical systems and process equipment
• Reading engineering drawings, schematics and P&IDs
• Three-phase systems, control panels, CANbus, relays and motor controls
• Hydraulics, pneumatics and pipe fitting

Desirable

• Asphalt, quarrying, cement or similar heavy plant experience
• Siemens or Allen-Bradley PLC programming
• MIG/TIG/MMA welding
• Hydraulics/diesel mechanics
• Instrumentation and calibration
• IOSH or NEBOSH
