Job summary

Teaching Personnel Ltd. is recruiting a Year 5 Class Teacher for a full-time role in Blackley, Manchester, starting in November 2026. You will lead Upper Key Stage 2 planning and delivery, differentiating lessons to meet all learners' needs.

The ideal candidate holds QTS, has KS2 experience (Year 5 preferred), and can manage a busy, collaborative year group. This is a great opportunity to contribute to pupil achievement within a supportive school community.

Qualifications

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 2; Year 5 experience is desirable.
• Demonstrate strong classroom management and organisational skills.
• Be confident differentiating learning to meet the needs of all pupils.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
• Create a positive classroom environment that promotes learning and achievement.
• Assess, monitor and track pupil progress to ensure strong outcomes.
• Adapt teaching to support pupils of all abilities, including SEND.
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour, effort and attainment.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
• Collaborate with year group teams and support staff to maximise pupil achievement.
• Contribute to wider school life and ongoing professional development.
