Job summary

Aspire People in Cambridge is seeking passionate Teaching Assistants to inspire and support learners across Wonderful Primary and SEN settings.

The role requires Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification, experience with primary children or SEN, and an Enhanced DBS check. You’ll work with teachers delivering lessons and providing 1:1 and small group support.

You’ll contribute to an inclusive, supportive atmosphere and help every pupil make progress in a positive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent experience.
• Experience with primary children and/or those with special needs is a bonus.
• Enhanced DBS check (we can help with this if needed).

Responsibilities

• Engage and inspire students, supporting learning in group and 1:1 settings.
• Assist teachers to deliver lessons and tailor support for SEN pupils.
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere where every child feels valued.
• Monitor progress and celebrate small victories with students.
