E-ACT Venturers’ Academy is recruiting a dedicated SEND Teacher for our secondary team in Bristol. You will deliver tailored lessons for students with autism and complex needs, ensuring strong academic and personal progress within a nurturing environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (or recognised equivalent)
• Experience teaching students with SEND, especially autism and/or complex needs
• Strong understanding of SEND legislation and EHCP processes
• Ability to adapt curriculum content and teaching strategies for diverse learners
• Excellent classroom management and calm, structured learning environment

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality teaching for secondary students with autism and complex needs
• Plan and deliver personalised lessons meeting EHCP outcomes
• Create a safe, inclusive classroom where students feel valued and supported
• Collaborate with teaching assistants, therapists, families and external agencies
• Use assessment strategies to monitor progress and adapt teaching for better outcomes
