E-ACT Venturers' Academy in England is seeking a dedicated SEND Teacher to join our Secondary team. We support students with autism and complex needs, delivering personalised learning to unlock potential and confidence.

You will plan engaging lessons, collaborate with teaching assistants, therapists, families and external agencies, and use assessment to monitor progress and adapt to EHCP outcomes. This is a permanent, 32.5-hour per week role across 52 weeks with generous benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching students with SEND, particularly autism/complex needs.
• Strong understanding of SEND legislation and EHCP processes.
• Ability to adapt curriculum content and teaching strategies for diverse learners.
• Excellent classroom management and ability to create a calm, structured environment.

Responsabilités

• Deliver high-quality teaching for secondary students with autism and complex needs.
• Plan and deliver personalised lessons meeting EHCP outcomes.
• Create a safe, inclusive classroom where students feel valued and supported.
• Collaborate with teaching assistants, therapists, families and external agencies.
• Use assessment strategies to monitor progress and identify next steps, adapting teaching to maximise outcomes.
