Job summary

Supply Desk is seeking a SEND Teacher for Hearing Impairment, Speech, Language & Communication Needs (SLCN) in Hemel Hempstead. You will deliver personalised lessons for pupils aged 2-19, integrating HI and SLCN strategies and working with a multi-disciplinary team.

The role offers full-time or part-time hours and a salary on the MPS/UPS scale with SEN allowance, with potential for a TLR. QTS is essential, and experience with SEND is highly valued.

• Holds QTS (essential).
• Experience supporting pupils with SEND, HI or SLCN.
• Caring, patient and nurturing approach.
• Strong relationships with pupils, families and professionals.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, personalised lessons tailored to pupils' communication needs.
• Collaborate with TAs, SaLTs, Teachers of the Deaf and families.
• Create inclusive environment where every child can flourish.
• Support pupils from Early Years to Post-16.
