Wilson Stuart School in Birmingham is seeking a dedicated Teacher for a fixed-term maternity cover role. You will teach pupils with a range of physical, learning disabilities and complex needs, delivering personalised learning and collaborative support with therapists, families and other professionals.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience planning and delivering effective teaching and learning.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

Responsabilités

• Plan and deliver engaging, personalised and adaptive learning.
• Assess, monitor and report on pupil progress.
• Contribute to EHCP reviews and target setting.
• Promote pupils' communication, independence, wellbeing and engagement.
• Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants and multi-disciplinary teams.
• Build positive partnerships with parents, carers and other professionals.
• Support enrichment activities, educational visits and the wider life of the school.
