Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Supporting students' development in a safe, secure, and challenging environment.
• Meeting the physical and medical needs of students according to individual care plans while encouraging independence.
• Developing an understanding of students’ specific needs to facilitate effective learning.
• Promoting inclusion within the classroom and displaying students’ work to reflect their achievements.
• Assisting with personal hygiene and self-help skills.
• Facilitating small group and 1-1 interventions such as social skills, homework support, and other targeted activities as directed by the SENDCO.
