Job summary

St Paul’s Church of England (A) Primary School is seeking an inspirational Level 3 Teaching Assistant to support children in our Lighthouse provision. The role involves SEN support across a wide age range and requires collaboration within a friendly teaching team in a school with a strong Christian ethos.

Hours total 32.5 per week, with options for split part-time roles. The post welcomes applicants who are enthusiastic, proactive and able to work across Early Years to Year 6, supporting pupils

Qualifications

Experience supporting pupils with special educational needs.
Commitment to safeguarding children and promoting welfare.
Ability to work within an inclusive, Christian ethos.

Responsibilities

Provide appropriate support and challenge for pupils with SEN to support their learning and progress.
Have the initiative to work effectively and support pupils in a range of contexts.
Be deployable across the school from Early Years to Year 6.
Work effectively within a teaching team to bring about the best outcomes for children.
Support the welfare of everyone in school and model the school's Christian values.
